Divya Tours & Travels is a small car-with-driver company a few minutes from Belapur CBD station. The owner’s name is on the poster; his car is in every photograph; the phone is answered at three in the morning. Fifty-six guests have taken the time to write about it.
The reviews keep using the same words — clean, polite, punctual, safe. We did not write them; the guests did, in English, Hindi and Marathi, between August 2025 and this month.
The business is Rajkumar Rathore’s. Guests call him Kumar ji, and write that he “guided us perfectly throughout the trip” and made “the entire process smooth and hassle-free”. The white Maruti Ertiga on the Navi Mumbai plate MH 43 CE 8540 is the company’s own: garlanded on its first day, photographed since at the Lonavala viewpoints, on monsoon highways, by the sea and at the north gate of Trimbakeshwar. On the printed rate card beside it sit a Dzire and a Toyota Innova.
Two habits define the company. The first is the clock: the office is open twenty-four hours because flights land at three and temple queues form at five, and “on-time service” is printed on the banner as a promise rather than a slogan. The second is the bill: local duty is a published card — eight hours, eighty kilometres, extra kilometres and hours at printed rates — and outstation trips are quoted fixed, with tolls, parking and the driver’s allowance stated before the car leaves Belapur.
The rest is what guests describe as care — a driver who stays with a family for two days and gets them to every stop on time, an Ertiga that arrives spotless for a Belapur-to-Alibag morning, a call answered in Hindi or English or Marathi, whichever you speak.
